About Us
As a nonprofit, mission-based organization founded as American Youth Hostels in 1934, Hostelling International USA is dedicated to promoting intercultural understanding, environmental stewardship and world peace through travel. As the regional affiliate of Hostelling International USA, Hostelling International New England (HI-New England) manages seven hostels in Boston, Cape Cod and the Islands and is part of a network of 80 hostels in the United States and 4,000 hostels spanning 60 countries.
HI-Boston and HI-New England promote intercultural awareness through educational and cultural programming, community service and volunteerism.
Travel’s Best-Kept Secret
HI-USA’s blue triangle logo is associated with exceptional service, cleanliness and security. Providing affordable accommodations for up to 560 guests per day, HI-New England hostels welcome more than 38,600 visitors to the region per year.
Everyone Likes a Good Deal
